murff

I'm murff. I live in Western Canada in the Rocky Mountains. I've been writing for about 50 years. I published a few poems in the 70s and 80s and a few essays, but only started to seriously pursue publishing around 2010. I started out as a journalist in Halifax N.S. after college. But was soon married with kids and turned to construction to pay the bills. I ended up with my own construction company and spent the next 40 years building houses, and a bunch of other cool stuff. I was injured in 2014 so backed off the carpentry work and have been retired since 2020. I've published about 30 poems in various journals as of this writing and 5 chapbooks that are available online. You can find them and more poetry at my website, tlmurphy.ca (or website listed above, same thing). I'm currently working on two more chapbooks and hope to put them out in the next few months. I like to ski and mountain bike. I love music and great books, and I like to make things with my hands.
