I like to sometimes remove my shoes and socks on a warm summer day and walk around on the grass. Good for the soul and sole.

Are mosquitos as relentless in your part of the world as they are in the upper midwest?

Nope, only in the north and some other parts. Around where I live, we are pretty free of that burden. I think I was bitten once or twice only last year. This year, not yet.

Ugh. Living next to a swamp, skeeters are really bad. My wife and I have debated putting up a couple of bat houses on a few of the pines along the edge. We love to watch them in the evenings, and they're obviously great at eating mosquitoes.

Never heard of those, but they sound cool!

I wouldnt know where to put one though. I live in the suburbs and have 1 big maple tree in the middle of my yard that an annoying squirrel lives in and terrorized my dogs. I dont think it would like me hanging stuff up on its tree....
