Sorry to hear that, ASFord. *offers a hug* Good luck! :)

By the way, am I the only one who's pissed off at the term "Made redundant"? Oh, and "human resources"? As if people are resources, like coal and oil. *mad* And you give them years of your life, and then it's "We don't need you, go home." GRRR.

Quite cheesed off, I am. Talk like Yoda, I will.

Sorry to hear that your company is giving you problems.

I’m also considering becoming a freelance editor and have been considering it since last fall. I hope clarity for what you want to do comes to you quickly! (it has not for me😞)

Hey there. As someone who is struggling through rewriting a book, I actually would be interested in getting an editor. I'd love to know more about your genres, writing style etc.

A little bit about me: I’ve been writing fiction since I was five years old, editing my own work since my teen years, and have formal training with both a BA (First) and MA (2:1) in Creative Writing. I've also spent the past fifteen years beta reading, critiquing, volunteer editing, and helping friends level up their manuscripts.
