Advertising My Blog

After watching the first video from a website that helps young writers to become professional writers, I have noticed the pattern that the two people who were talking about how to succeed as a young writer, started their own blogs in the past and worked hard on posting articles after articles. Being motivated, I made my Blogger website public once again and even though I haven't made any new posting there...

Though once I am done with my short story I'll worry about how to advertise it later, but all suggestions are welcome!

You could do a linktree where your blog exists and have a link to it on internet pages where you upload your stories for online publication. Just one idea. Or have a link to it via social media, where you then interact with people from your target audience, just another idea. Haven't tried these myself that much, though.

I've not been very successful in producing work for publication lately, but once I have several stories up I plan on maybe reciting them and uploading them somewhere and see if interest is generated. That could be something as well? To recite selected blog articles on Youtube or somewhere?

Then there is paid advertising where you have many options, such as Facebook ads, Google ads, etc. But you would obviously need to be willing to spend money for it.

Just my cents.

You could always submit them to publications, although be aware that rejection rates are high.

Now I am curious, is there any publications that you know of that are digital? Thank you.

These days, almost all of them. Almost all of the submissions we are reporting in the Rejection, Rejection, Rejection thread are to publications that are either electronic or both print and electronic.
