I've self published on Amazon KDP before but they have all been text and free-flow. My next WIP is non-fiction and is a mix of images and text. The text must be positioned in relation to the images they refer to. It's similar to a cookery ebook and I understand they should have a fixed format rather than free-flowing. I have just spent the morning reading on KDP and elsewhere how to use a fixed format to create an ebook compatible with Kindle and find I am going round in circles and becoming ever more confused. I do not intend to have a print version.
Can anyone advise on the best procedure for doing this? The pages are currently in HTML but I think I could convert them to PDF if that would help.
