Hello again!

I finally made the migration from the old site to the new one! I'm sure some of you will recognize me since I decided to keep the same username. While I haven't really been writing a lot recently (by recently, I mean a few years...), I'm hoping that changes. I signed up for the .org site back when I was in college and wanted to become a writer. I did manage to publish a few things in some smaller magazines, all of which I think have shut down. That was a decade ago, and I haven't really written anything serious since then, just some scribblings here and there. I've been reading a lot of poetry recently, so maybe I'll get back into writing that. Who knows.

Anyway, it's good to see some familiar faces names here, and looking forward to meeting some new folks as well!

@thirdwind I'm sure you don't remember me, but I remember you. I also remember some of those discussions and at least one raid where they had to shut down new sign ups. Those MFA discussions were wild Cogito was probably the sticky master lol.

Of course I remember you! It's great to see you again. Haha, yeah, we had some crazy times there. Funnily enough, I was reading a novel recently where the author did use italics for thoughts, and my mind immediately went to all those discussions on the old forum.

Definitely had some fun though. I have to admit, more than once Wreybies messaged me with something like "is today the day you make me ban you?"

Response was always - "No sir! All done now. Sincere apologies"

The italics for thoughts always makes me think of those old discussions, but I still use them sometimes. I can't help it.

Nice to meet you as well! For the past few years, I was mainly only active in the contests area. I lurked around in other areas of the forum but didn't post anything unless I felt really compelled to. That's probably why we never crossed paths on the old forum.
