I have a fairly lyrical/poetic writing style, but it only gets disgustingly overboard (on purpose) whenever I write about my deserty dog people.

Is the Character Discussions sub-forum more for discussing the creation/development of characters or can I also post a loredump thread there (for a lack of a better term lol) and link to it for additional context if someone wanted to read more about whatever characters a story of mine features?

For the longest time, I'd assumed the word "preen" could only be used for feathers and "groom" was for fur. I was told they can both be used interchangeably.
