Trying to decide what's worth hunting down and saving. I just got my blog, rescued the crits on my WIP from a now-missing writing partner. Do I bother digging into the Workshop? Probably not, most of it's long been forgotten. Sigh

We talked about that before and the international nature of the membership makes it dicey. Used to have a member from Iran, for example, and if someone like that were to win awarding a monetary prize might violate some sort of sanctions regime regardless of the author's political leanings.

The defaults are to get email notices whenever someone replies to a thread you are watching. I found the switches in "Preferences" but I'm still getting notices to my email when people respond to the Wassup thread (and some others, not totally sure but that's the busiest). Could be I'm doing...

I have no problem with the present (recent past) system of if you want feedback, chuck it in the Workshop when the voting is done. Perhaps leave a link in the comments to the original entry that directs there. I think just having a "feedback/critique is Workshop only" rule is probably simpler...
