It Began in a Tavern (OOC Thread) (Part 2)

Indeed! But the climax will be complex enough to allow for that. I honestly think that the climax should be more than a battle. We should summon every drop of our creative spirits and make it otherwordly, almost like a fever dream. Anything is possible then, even bringing the sun back.

It Began in a Tavern (OOC Thread) (Part 2)

Post is up! I couldn't have it up as early as I wanted because I was lost on what to write. But I got it after all. There is a lot going on in that post. We're in the midpoint now so I basically set up the later half of the story. Your typical story structure advises that this is the point...

It Began in a Tavern - Official Legacy Roleplay (Part 2)

Olive, Katara and Ravenna followed Pria up the rocky cliffside path. Save for the distant roar of thunder, no words were spoken. Dark, grey clouds covered the skies and stretched far beyond the horizon, where they sparked and roared. A single rain drop fell on Olive’s nose. She wiped it with...

It Began in a Tavern (OOC Thread) (Part 2)

I'll try to have my post up by tomorrow. Sorry for the delay! I really wanted to have it up by Friday but I just couldn't.

It Began in a Tavern (OOC Thread) (Part 2)

It's not a problem really. Good luck with whatever kept you from posting! I'll try to get my post up ASAP so we're not too behind on schedule. I have plenty of inspiration from all those Ghibli films I watched.

    Bug reports, problems, glitches

Is it really? How weird. Huh... I guess that makes sense. I doubt anyone uses it like that though.

    Bug reports, problems, glitches

The Indent and Outdent buttons are inside the lists group. They shouldn't really be there. It makes looking for them confusing. Could that possibly be changed?

Soft Magic, Hard Magic - who cares?!

I reviewed my own posts and I'm fairly confident that I didn't say anything accusatory. I saw some flaws in what I wrote but nothing of the sort. But regardless, I apologize if I made you feel negatively. I did not intend it.

Soft Magic, Hard Magic - who cares?!

I saw what you wrote, and I still stand by what I said. Also, I'm not really worked up, so I'm not sure what you mean by that. We're going in circles, dancing to the same song. Characters are not the only element of story as I've explained. Their world matters and part of a world with magic...

Soft Magic, Hard Magic - who cares?!

So, what you're essentially saying is: I don't like hard magic systems and I am not going to use them. But the original post wasn't about your preferences. In highlighted text, this is the point you made, and is what I responded to you in quotes: And I responded, with good reasons you didn't...

Soft Magic, Hard Magic - who cares?!

Hard disagree. I care and so must others. An elaborate, well-designed magic system is so much better than something vague which cannot be well defined. That isn't to say that stories with soft magic systems are inherently bad or anything like that, but I do prefer hard magic systems with clever...

It Began in a Tavern (OOC Thread) (Part 2)

The weekend is tomorrow, so yes, you can have that time! To be honest, I used to be concerned with when we'll be finished, but we've written 53k words so far. Raising the total word count limit was the right move because the average has increased to 1k words. So we're indeed getting close to...

It Began in a Tavern (OOC Thread) (Part 2)

Your turn ends today, @IgnitedxSoul. Do you need more time?

    What made me happy today?

You have succeeded as a storyteller.

    What made me happy today?

I didn't realize your old profile picture was from that film when I went into it. When I saw Moon making that funny expression, I burst out laughing because I just didn't expect it. It was a weird feeling, like going somewhere and encountering someone you just wouldn't dream of.
