Sorry for waiting to introduce myself. These kinds of things are hard for me.

I'm buttercream. I go by the same name on the .com. I write several genres and love to experiment, but fanfiction and romance are my main squeezes.

I discovered the original site while lurking on the .com in early March. Even though the active userbase was friendly and I recognized many faces, something told me not to register, so I didn't. I still popped in every once in a while, and that lurking became regular on the 12th when I learned of the situation.

After much deliberation, I decided to follow the lifeboats on my little raft. Watching a community rally together like this and put in so much hard work to save themselves out of nothing but pure love for each other has been so beautiful, and I thought I'd try and contribute. I'm very shy and don't have much of interest to say, but I'll do my best to help keep this new ship afloat.

What genre of fan-fiction do you prefer? Which original work do you write fan-fiction of?

Ahem. Well, my love of fanfic and romance tend to intersect a lot..., but I also like slice-of-life, comedy, action/adventure, and sometimes thriller. It's fascinating to throw characters into different contexts. I especially adore focusing on interpersonal relationships canon didn't explore much.

My life would be way easier were I the kind to stick to one fandom. Lately, I've been focusing on Naruto, South Park, and Noblesse.
