Annotating with stylus apps

Hi, I'm used to printing out my chapters and scribbling annotations with colored pens. This, I find, is a great waste of trees and paper.
I'd love to hear of what apps other writers use to do the same for editing.
Thanks in anticipation.

I have a kindle colorsoft. I send my chapters to my kindle in pdf format and then I make all of my corrections on it. I like the colors on the colorsoft, but I've also done it on the regular kindle just as easily. It's just not as fun because I'm an office supply whore so the colors make me feel like I'm using a real highlighter (or something equally dumb). Easy to search the manuscript for whatever I need to fix by pulling up the notes on my kindle when I'm done.

Thanks Trish,
I appreciate your reply and will try it out on my Kindle Paperwhite.
