April Fool's Day on a Saturday or a Sunday in the years 1975 - 1985?

I am trying to find a year in the years of 1975 - 1985 where April Fool's Day arrived on a Saturday day or a Sunday day.

An adult is going to trick a child into pranking her parents by "pretending" to run away and she ends up abducted. I know HOW the kidnapper gets away and remains undiscovered, but I need a year to set this event in. My Google Fu is failing me - I'm 1,000% positive this information exists BUT.....WHERE????

I doubt it matters for this question but the child is 6 or 7, lives in the suburban part of a city.

Can anyone point me in the right direction? TIA!!!

I hereby declare January 4th as British April Fool's Day!

Isn't "." the ISO delimiter to denote d m y dates? As in:

1.4.1978 is 4/1/1978 is 1978-04-01

They all get thrown around pretty randomly in the US, as if purely decorative.

Thank you for the information. I don't use Excel so I wasn't aware this was a function of the software. Although...^^^^ you gave me some dates to use!

You could also just set your computer's date to 1st April in any of the appropriate years and see what day of the week it thinks it is. :)
