Are we able to get members' books featured on here like the old forum?

Apologies if this is already a thing, I only browse on mobile. But I remember the old forum showcasing members' stories, and haven't seen those here. Just wondering if that would be something we could bring back.

I'm not sure if there are any plans for a widget or something for freshly published books, or that updates and showcases randomly published ones from our members, but I think that would be a cool thing.

That's the bookstore, which is something I'd like to do but there are some business hurdles that need to be crossed to become an Amazon affiliate. Nothing crazy, but there are tax liabilities and earnings reports for my LLC that would require a slightly different configuration than what I have set up already. It's all doable, but it requires a certain amount of investment in time and money that I'm not 100% sure I want to commit to yet. I was planning to evaluate things after the first year to kind of see where we're at before I made any decisions. I guess we're kind of there already...

there’s already a thread for members publications, ( top of the page in success stories) once that’s got more than a couple of entries we could pull it into a page even if we weren’t able to use affiliates to get cash from it

We won’t be using the actual advert rotator we had on the old site because that thing was a PoS and clunky as hell to load in the back end which was pretty much why it fell out of use, there maybe equivalent plug ins we could use for XF2 but that’s another thing for down the road
