Does anyone have experience of using the Atticus software to format e books. I'm currently using vellum but i'm always eyes open to improvements

I do not have experience, but its on my list!
(I made a check list for self pubbing for when im ready to do it, ill be organized on what i need to do).


I watched their tutorial videos and read through their articles.

(Im gunna watch this thread, because im curious, too)

Atticus is intended to be a word processor/content creator as well as a formatter, isn't it?

I've only goofed around with epub output at this time. The free version of Vellum, if that's still a thing, was very nice but seemed most at home with formatting, not creating.

Apple Pages, which has a web version for PC users, looked like it did a nice job with epub export, too.

Mellel, another Mac-only product, seems to do a good job with epub output, even opening control over the epub spine. I think a lot of epub formatters don't give that level of access.
