I was on the old board, with the same username (I think? Not 100% sure).
Been thinking about posting more often. The WIP I had discussed on the old board has been “finished” over a year now, with the latest revisions just a few weeks ago.
I had some luck securing an agent. After more than a hundred rejections and only a handful of manuscript requests, there was a moment of serendipity where I found an agent outside the usual querying process. I just got his round 1 submission list and it’s top imprints at big 5. I imagine I won’t land there but I take it as a vote of confidence that he’s willing to have a go there first.
Working on the second novel. That’s going slow, only about halfway through act 1. It’s a crime thriller told from multiple point of views.
