Hey hey! Xenforo will be upgrading our forum software from version 2.3.6 to 2.3.7 at 1:00am tonight/tomorrow Eastern Standard Time. That's 6:00 AM in the UK and 10:00pm Pacific. Japan and Oz would be... add 1-2 hours and flip the sun... 2:00-3:00pm Thursday afternoon? Either way, it's happening approximately 8 hours from the creation of this announcement.

I have no idea how long the upgrade will take and how long the forum will be down for. Google is a little vague, but it seems to be a matter of minutes as opposed to hours. Here is a list of details for our programming fans who like these things:

I have no idea of we'll see any obvious changes, but if you're trying to log in and we appear to be down, that is why.

Iain, did i get the Japanese time zone right? Add an hour and flip the sun is the only way I can keep it straight.
Why you gotta ask complicated questions? I didn't stop by during any downtime, and your formula is prolly right in the summer but we don't do daylight savings time.

Right now-ish?

Wow, we upgraded our software in less than three months where the old site didn't have an upgrade in what, ten years?
The old one was Xenforo1 and was so out of date that it couldn't be easily upgraded to X2. When I was contemplating our options, everything I read was like, yeah, maybe, it would work, but probably not. Definitely a blessing in disguise that I couldn't get my hands on the OG because we could have been in the same lifeboat probably.

XF1 stopped being supported in 2016, an upagrade probably would have crashed it... like an old car where the rust and jellified oil are the only things holding it together
