Off topic: what is an FIB, and why is Chicago a city of broad shoulders? Curious minds would like to know.

FIB is a less-than-serious derogatory initialism for folks from Illinois who vacation in Wisconsin and seem to lack basic driving skills and courtesy; it stands for "fucking Illinois bastard." More in fun than in anger. Except if they are Chicago Cubs or Bears fans. Also, Al Capone, with his Wisconsin lakeside retreat, was a serious FIB.

And I believe "City of broad shoulders" is from a Carl Sandburg poem about Chicago referring to its working class history. Actually, it is "City of the Big Shoulders."
