Hello !
Member of the previous forum here, although I mostly lurked. This time around, I hope to honor the hard work that went into setting all of this up !
I'm lucky to be in the position where my day job includes bouts of creative writing every now and then.
Still, I don't have much of a community when it comes to the craft itself.
For three years now, I've been slowly chipping away at... my first novel ? That can't be right.
English is my second language, so I have an unfortunate tendency to mix British and American dialects.
I'm still trying to read more, as that's a wagon I've mostly fallen off of in the past... decade... The best thing I did this year was to get a library card !
And by far the best book I've read since then was "The Manningtree Witches," by A.K. Blakemore.
