Hi! I'm a 16yo in the US (midwest!) who writes for fun occasionally.
I'm mostly interested in the memoir/realistic fiction side, as well as poetry to help with song lyric writing.

While I enjoy writing, my main hobbies lie in the music world, as a clarinet player (+piano & tenor sax) who aspires to be a music educator. Although results haven't quite been posted, I will likely be drum major for my marching band's upcoming season. I also enjoy drawing, reading, as well as colorguard as a hobby!

I have raging adhd and will probably forget about this place besides randomly hyperfixating on it so bare with me haha

Welcome! Sounds like you have a lot of fun creative interests that will work off each other.

The poetry side of WF is getting ever stronger, so jump in whenever you can. There's also a songwriting forum here, though I haven't done anything with it myself.

I can tell you that gaining skill in poetry will help your prose.

Drop in whenever you can, and keep us posted re: the drum major position.
