My handle is Ferrin, and I am an amateur writer working on a personal project. My wife you see is an avid reader, and i wanted to do something special for our anniversary. So I decided to write a story about us, an epic story. One that explored our complex relationship. She has DID, you see. And so I wrote a long, very rough first draft, two hundred thousand words. More of a very word outline than anything. And then tried to put it all into scenes. For a year i worked on this, and by the third draft I let her read it and she loved it. But, I still didn't like it. I could do better. The anniversary has come and gone, and now I'm on my fifth draft. The fourth draft is way to long, I think i have three books actually.
I'm not trying to be a professional or anything. Just get some feedback from someone not my spouse.
