Hi everybody ^^

I'm a fifteen-year-old girl, and I'm French.
I'm here because I want to improve my English. And for that what's better than writing in English ? (in fact, many things, but I make a mishmash of learning methods)
So you'll see my texts here, not very good but I hope not so bad either...
I also write in French, I haven't finished any story so far, but I write !

If you think I shouldn’t post here, that this forum isn't made for me, just imagine that I’m English, but a clumsy writer, and bad at spelling.

Thanks for having me !

Welcome, Marylou. This forum is absolutely for you, we are all here to learn on different levels. One has to start somewhere.

What kind of genres or stories do you like to read and write?

Welcome. Of course this forum is for you! Pull up a seat and make yourself comfortable. :)

Thanks for your welcome (and for the beer) !

Madman Starryteller :

In French, I love reading, but I don’t have any favourite type of story. Maybe I’m less into sappy romances, which seem to be popular these days, and same for detective novels (but I can like some of these last).
In English, I just read extracts, articles, something like this.

As for writing, in French I'm juggling with some stories in differents genres.
In this forum, I think that I start to post a diary in the non-fiction section, to get used to writing in this language (because even for writing this message I take time, and I needed to use a little bit a translator).

I think that I start to post a diary in the non-fiction section,
You might find the progress journals useful here:

Most of us use them to track our writing progress and let everybody know what we have going on. It helps a lot to keep your thoughts organized and to keep yourself on track and accountable. And to get encouragement from the rest of the community because we're all trying to get better at writing.
