Do you have any weird things going on in your stories? Any unique events? Remarkable things?

Tell us about them in somewhat short order here!

I'll start with:
In the Spherium of my universe, soldiers are encouraged love each other, even to fraternize superior to subordinate, with all the drama involved. But... the women in the ranks don't get to keep their child inside them if they're still in the service. Instead, when it has been confirmed that a child is developing, it is removed and placed in a tube to develop fully. Once born from the tube, the parents are often given leave (if possible) for a time to develop and care for the baby. When they return to service, the child is placed in a state-sponsored foster home of similar such tube children. And as long as the soldiers are still in service, they can visit their child during resting periods. Should the soldiers leave their service, the child goes to them.

Tube children gain a lot of advantages other children may not. They are entitled to a certain percentage of their parents' military economic gains such as loot and salary. They are guaranteed a basic education and basic citizenship. They are granted access to become recruits in the military with a higher standard salary. If one or both of their parents die in the military, they are guaranteed a pension.

This is a move by the state to promote more births among soldiers.

This kind of arrangement is seen as sickening by some Spherians, and as a possibility for others.

Hmm, I don't know about "weird" per se. I've had sinking cities, ghosts playing football, dogs being tricked into eating people, literal gut-bursting murder, and cows shitting in Times Square.

We want all of our events to be unique! ;)

Zorts did not marry or form ‘relationships’ of romantic love, but rather they had sex with whoever took their fancy, and nobody got jealous about it. They did not understand the concept of homosexual. Apart from this small hiccup in certain inter-planetary relations, Zorts were overly polite and very eager to have sex with the earth folk who had conquered them. Earth women tended to avoid Zort men since their method of romancing consisted of slapping asses and offering money, starting with low-ball offers. Earth men on the other hand found Zort women a refreshing if somewhat challenging change.
Zort women could choose to whom and if and when she would get pregnant using their antennae’s psychic power, and even though they knew the name of the father, she would never speak it as this would immediately abort the fetus. In any case she will have completely forgotten the guy by the second trimester. This never varied. As such, the matriarchal Zorts multiplied fruitfully in a welfare world run by single mothers who taxed men without mercy.
