It Began in a Tavern (OOC Thread) (Part 2)

My new post is up. It's your turn now @Louanne Learning !

I'm really sorry I took an extra two days. This post was honestly really hard to write. I struggled a lot with it but hopefully it has some worth to the project.

Wow! I love that twist at the end! I am so excited to get started.

Absolutely no problem. I think we can have a little flexibility with deadlines, especially when the entry is more than worth the wait!!

New post made!

New post made!

I really like how you're progressing Dusca and Barnabas's storylines. Excellent handling! I also loved the scene where they read the scriptures.

We're now officially at Cliffcross, huh? Let the party begin, I suppose. Olive and everyone on her side looses here but they rise stronger afterwards. That was what we agreed on a long while ago, anyway!

I was late in responding because I had a lot to do over the weekend, by the way. Sorry about that!

Oh, also—We're at 54,476 total words written thanks to everyone's hard work and dedication. Good job!

yes, I figure some ingredient will be missing - maybe Arthur's violin playing? - and Olive will have to tough it out on her own, but not be able to overcome the forces of darkness in battle.

So, who will be at Cliffcross, and who will not? What role will each character play there?

We don't need to answer these questions in this thread - unless you'd like to - but it's something for us to think about.

Good job!

Yes, good job everyone!

Do you have the entire manuscript transposed into a document somewhere? I want to read it all again as a refresher and I think it would be a lot easier in a single doc if you had it.

I think it's best to figure it out as we go along. Part of the fun is us surprising each other!

Besides, I've written plans for my own novels and I always do things that were never planned—often for the better.

I have individual files (to track some stats) but I can compile them into a single file by tonight.

Oh gosh this week went by fast. Any way I could have a couple more days so I can get this done on the weekend?

The weekend is tomorrow, so yes, you can have that time!

To be honest, I used to be concerned with when we'll be finished, but we've written 53k words so far. Raising the total word count limit was the right move because the average has increased to 1k words. So we're indeed getting close to the finish line. I suspect that come spring, we'll be all finished. Then we can boast about being the very first finished project here!

Sorry everyone, I had a crazy busy weekend and just couldn't find the time. I don't want to keep you all waiting, please skip me this round.
