Plans for the weekend...

I’ve ordered a new (refurbished) pc monitor. Taking the opportunity to sort the desk today while I wait for it to arrive. It’s a bit of a dumping ground for generic stuff at the moment. Small house problems.
The in-laws have got us a new desk lamp too.

The house is open plan. Naturally, I ended up reshuffling the lot while the toddlersaurus was asleep. That’s normal, right?

I did sort the desk though.

I'm off this afternoon, so thinking blitz other admin/cleaning tasks to keep the actual weekend clear for writing. This weekend, I intend to bring my working total to 7k words (currently on 4k-ish).

Not here! In regards to being off this afternoon? I work park time because of childcare requirements.

I want to write 2,000 words over the weekend, which means dedicating myself to 4-5 hours of writing total. Things are flowing. I discovered a series of scenes that fit perfectly in Chapter 3.

I think it's just warm enough for RTV silicone to set, so a bit more gasket surface scraping/cleaning then the new water pump can go on. I want to put on the freshly resurfaced cylinder heads this weekend too, but it's kind of stressful. Pretty easy to do something wrong. I don't know, we'll see.
