Pseudo Dried Tobacco

I'm not in the nico game, so deferring to y'all.

What plant matter could pose as dried tobacco from a moderate distance? Would anything do, or are there some better choices?

I've been Googling images for comparison. Would anise work, or not quite?

One dried leaf looks pretty much like another at a distance. Otherwise, the smell gives it away.
