I joined under a different name in the last forum, but over the years, the username and password have been lost in the black hole that is my memory. I'm older, (slightly) wiser, and have a bit more experience under my belt, so we'll see what happens.

It's interesting to see that you wrote you are a little more wiser (even if you said slightly) and more experienced... perfect to join the group!

I used to frequent another site and saw many writing friends give up never to return. They had good stories too but... well... sometimes writing makes you reflect deeply on what you have produced and words can come across quite strong and that was a strong enough mix to make others let that question overwhelm them to return to what 'makes them happy'

Why am I doing this?

It's a broad question but writing is a creative endevour that aids in clearing lots of unhidden secrets in the hefty boxes hidden in our minds.
