Depending on how much it impacts her, it could muddle her words.

"Your tea is ready." becomes "Your ___ing . . . tea!" and an accelerated mug.

If you had answered 'cold fury,' then just a normal sentence about tea would say plenty. I don't know why, but men just can't load venom into mundane phrases like women can.

As this is an old post, i did eventually write the scene. I ended up with a flippant sentence and a play on words.
She brought a pot of soup for the sick woman.... sees them.... throws pot on the floor.... they spring apart..... she tells the guy "this isnt what i meant about coming to your senses!"..... she storms outside and shouts insults about the man and woman being together (to shame/humiliate them) so everyone can hear.
