K. I was just tired of seeing a banner and a board title saying the same thing half an inch apart. Maybe there's a way I can just hide it. Every time I have an idea there's a technological impediment. Probably why nobody does forums anymore.

It is odd that it changed everything to saying that.
It's the "Board Title," which goes everywhere apparently. I was just sick of seeing it at the top there. Whatevs...
That’s why we were getting server errors thinking about it, the code for the notification wasn’t able to cope with the field being blank

@Homer Potvin and @big soft moose, I was wondering if we could get a Historical Fiction tag in the fiction workshop? Because I am using it for all my posts there and a few other users would benefit from it, too. Please and thank you! It would be greatly appreciated.

@Homer Potvin, I looked at the Fiction Workshop and tried to edit my thread. But there was no Prefix for Historical Fiction showing up. There might be a button to press or unpress behind the curtain.
Probably has to be added to the node. I'll check when I get near a laptop

Yeah we can do that, give me a moment. We can give you and other game masters the ability to move threads inside the rpg section if you don't already have it, so you can keep that tidy

Assuming ive done it right - which given how late it is here isnt a given, you and Louanne should now be members of a new user group called Game Master which gives you limited powers to move, edit etc threads only within the rpg forum (this will be slightly different to the powers homer gave you i think, but if you need anything you don't have let me know and we can add on)
Note about merging threads (which you have to have to give you move thread).... treat that with the caution usually reserved for the phrase 'please castrate me'. Once its done it can't be undone short of a restore from the database.

Not about politics, I know that it's a slippery slope, I asked few times about plays and screenplays but if there's not much interest don't see the purpose in having the threads, I just wanted to express my awareness of the decision making process. I will eventually fit in there or in another similar place because I'm getting a lot of complains here, like I'm a savage or sth.
I'm really confused because the only suggestion you've made in this thread was for a screenwriting sub forum, and my response was not no, but rather 'we'll do it when there's sufficient demand' and that if you wanted it you needed to create content, ie threads, that would go in it (which you then didn't)I literally received no to every request I had, once I am done with NaPo I will gather money to go to Writingforum dot com
if you want to go elsewhere that's entirely up to you, but lets not manufacture outrage where none is to be found
also i'm not clear on where all these 'complains' are, because aside from telling you not to discuss politics i can't see any, you don't even have any warning points..

Okay, I understand. I'll do some cleaning up now and move threads that aren't needed anymore. If somehow they do turn "useful" again, I can just move them back.
I see absolutely no reason to use the thread merger thing, so no problems there.
