What are you grateful for today? At the risk of looking like a suck up I'm really grateful for and owner and co admin @Homer Potvin . I've wanted to do what we're doing here for years , but although i have the know how i don't have the resource to afford it, so its massive that Homer has stepped up to make this place a reality

Whatare you grateful for today ?

And it goes without saying that I'm grateful for @big soft moose. I've wanted to do this for years, too, but didn't have the confidence or know-how. He's made the know-how easy. And all the members who kept the old ship running made the confidence part easy. Building the ship was a breeze but having a crew to operate it would otherwise have taken years. I'm very grateful that we don't have to worry about any of that anymore!

I'm grateful for the name change to this thread... I was never really comfortable with "gratitudinous"

And, yeah, also grateful to @Homer Potvin for putting his money where his mouth is and getting this crate off the ground whilst learning the ropes so very quickly, and also to @big soft moose for helping with them ropes. These dudes have climbed a mountain in record time.

Grateful that kitty is still doing okay following the vet visit. Almost everything has improved, though I'd love to see her eat a bit more and sleep a bit less. I hope the sleep thing is just her healing up some. Still cautiously optimistic for my sweet, dignified old lady.

I'm grateful to writing communities in general, Nanonomo's management excluded. I'm finding it was my loss not to have participated more in the Writing Forum(s) enclave back when it was enmired in the ashes from whence it's recently risen.

This morning I was pondering the benefits of life in plain text and saw iA Writer is nominated for an Apple award. Quite exciting to see my own thoughts mirrored in the industry. That was another cause for gratitude.

There was something off, though, a thud instead of a ring.

iA Writer shuns shiny features, decrying apps that — in their words at Apple Design Award Finalist After 15 Years — become "bloated, farty, buggy, and slow."

An unsettling description. Makes me think I should do more un-sitting. Suffering from BFBS is no way to go through life.
