Waaasssuuuppp!!!

I'm the 100th person?! That's crazy!! I'm new to this forum and I never was on the previous one. I saw that people made a new place to go to avoid AI and all that nonsense, so I figured I should come here instead.

*klaxon sounds, balloons rain down on ellekaldwin, cute puppies bound into the studio and bounce excitedly* ;)

Welcome a-board! You win ... A BRAND NEW CAR!!! :)

I know there are only so many ways to draw a skull, but your avatar reminds me of Horror Man from the Japanese children's anime Anpanman:
That reminds me of Undertale. I didn't play it, but I keep seeing bits and pieces of it.
Which kinda brings it full circle, because mine is from a video game: Grim Fandango. Manny Calavera, a travel agent in the land of the dead. If you ever only play one point & click adventure game, play that one.

I second that sentiment! :) I first played Grim Fandango in the mid-90s, during the days of CD-ROMs -- *dodges all the cries of "Suuuuuuure you did, grandpa"* -- and since DVD-ROM drives are now thin on the ground, I now have it on GOG. I also have the soundtrack! :)

It's available on both Steam and GOG. The graphics are inspired by both art deco and the calico dolls that are available as part of Dia de los Muertes. The music is inspired by jazz, blues, big band, and traditional Mayan music. The story and characters are awesome.

Ah, tell you what - why am I ranting about it? Let me show you the trailer! :)

Available now on Steam and GOG, here:

Go and play it today! :)

Eddie Moonchild used to be my musician-name.
Before you ask, the name was the only good thing about my music.
I was once lead guitar in a band called Translucent Aardvark... we were going to be the next Inspiral Carpets, if only we'd possessed any musical talent. I also wrote most of our songs, which was not a good thing... no recordings survive thank god but i did find a lyrics sheet in an old exercxise book full of such shite... i quote

'they want to make us a tiger economy
to compete in this day and age
I don't know bout you my friends
but I won't live inside their cage'

There was a lot more but i won't inflict cruel and unusual punishment on you fine folks

Lol! I love it.

the name was definitely the best thing about us... imagine if you will a crew of three young men two with hair to make Whitesnake jealous, me with a white mans afro not unlike bob ross. Tye died shirts with white roll necks beneath, jeans with turn ups, and cherry red DMs without laces.. plus the female lead singer who has big blonde hair, a pink latex dress with white stockings and make up on her teeth, Julie sings but is less melodic than a cat being castrated, I play guitar really badly and nearly all my tracks feature either the chorus from smoke on the water or the 'good bit' from sunshine of your love, Mickey plays the drums with no sense of rhythm, and danny allegedly plays bass but would be better off with the fish.

add in painfully bad lyrics, and a light show with a smoke machine that only works if you kick it, and a couple of amps which are a hazard to basic electrical safety.. all conveyed to the venue in a transit van with a snide MOT

we broke up over a year because Danny wanted us to play some songs he'd written and Julie and I said no because they werent up to our (already woefully low) standards
