Eric Johnson should have had more exposure, too. Perhaps his music is a little too clean-cut for the market? Streaming his Collage album now.
Tough market, instrumental guitar. He was never a showboat like the Yngwies and Vais of the world. But that tone, man. 1000# violin as Satch called it. It's like butter, bacon, and sex all rolled into one.Eric Johnson should have had more exposure, too. Perhaps his music is a little too clean-cut for the market? Streaming his Collage album now.
*sound of knife on whetstone*Van Halen is AI. Gotta be.
Ooh, I wondered where you got your avatars. They always read so well.Go to Doll Divine (thats where I make mine).
They have anime inspired creators on there
(...im surprised they dont have a Demon Slayer one. they had a Naruto one at one point. and they have a One Piece creator now...)
I shall plead guilty and accept the judgement of the court. I imagine I'll end up behind bars. Probably 12 of them. Solitary confinement, just me and my blues.*sound of knife on whetstone*
You, uh... you wanna go back and edit that post, hoss?
;o)
Good one. I liked that, so I've put in a word with the Council of Van Halen Extremists. Which, oddly, does not include Gary Cherone. We're gonna let this one slide like Nazareth's Woke Up This Morning.I imagine I'll end up behind bars. Probably 12 of them. Solitary confinement, just me and my blues.
Gary Cherone.
I can't openly agree or disagree, but I will say that it is not the album I play the most, no.Woof. Was just talking about this with a buddy the other day. A regrettable time for all involved.
And in less than a month! Pretty awesome! We've reached 200 members!
It looks like missed opportunity to me. Van Halen could have made a point of introducing his singer as My Cherone, making an important gesture of inclusion to a music demographic often discounted, the little appreciated saccharine punk genre. Van Halen could have had millions of new fans overnight, mostly overweight 13 year olds stuffed with Happy Meals, but new fans nonetheless.Woof. Was just talking about this with a buddy the other day. A regrettable time for all involved.
Yeah, Eddie would have been all about that.saccharine punk genre
It's good for us though, while it lasts, since it's higher in search and directs people here. I hope it lasts a little longer.Weird thing. The other forum is still alive. I wonder if it will make it through June. Wanna place beer bets?
The site is still up. I get that notice too, but it's because the two addresses are almost identical so google thinks you made a mistake going to the one you haven't been frequenting.I get this now whenever i go to the old site (it reroutes me to this site):

The humanitarian in me wants to reach out to him and say, hey, don't bother anymore, bruh. Be well and best of luck in the future. The asshole in me wants to see him continue to pay to teach a lesson that will never be learned. Fuck you and the horse you rode in on. The pragmatist in me is more like, hey just log on once and see for yourself. Whatever will be, will be. As always, my pragmatism wins out.I think what probably happens is Daniel pays the server bill by bank transfer so if he’s got the money it pays and if he hasn’t it goes down. February stayed up as well… however it was unusable anyway because of the massive onslaught of porn spam resulting from the failure of the spam filter
It’s typical of Daniel that after months of not paying when he needed to he is so inattentive that he’s paid the hosting fee for a forum that’s inactive
