I don't know the movie, but I know the feeling. You start writing a new scene, you're having fun. A day or two later, you start to realise you unintentionally wrecked your WIP by introducing logical errors.

They have kits you can buy for bat houses. Best to put them on a tree away from structures. They look rather cool and interesting. There's kits and plans to build your own, too.
