    So when I was in late 00's light blue eyes were thought to be 'angelic', why did that idealism fade out in modern times? It's just something I noticed over time, xD

    Did not know that was a trope. Why was it considered angelic?

    I've always thought grey or silver irises are very cool and nice.

    It was considered naive, really... malleable. That's why it was desirable. The dumb blond thing. It was annoying as hell (said as blond with blue eyes). I actually dyed mine red for the majority of my life just to get away from it lol.
