Are there any services or companies that help with self-publishing?

Not talking about vanity presses here.

I'm slowly approaching the stage where I need to start thinking about self-publishing. If possible I would rather outsource the publishing. I got a cover, title, and possibly a blurb.

All I want help with is putting this on a bookstore in the future.

So, are there any such services?
Services that take a flat fee, not any royalties. Services you would trust. Do you even have experience with such a service? What can you say about it?

I need help with this because my mind isn't what it used to be, and though I've read a bit about it, I can't make much sense of the whole self-publishing process. Yet I don't want to be held back by this obstacle.

I saw someone on Fiverr who said they will take care of the whole publishing thing. I was looking for editors and she does book editing and book launch: "I will publish, optimize, and launch your ebook on amazon"

I've been looking in to doing it myself recently. Yesterday, I designed my full book cover (if/when i decide to self publish). KDP has book trim templates:



this one was made for me after i gave it the kind of book and size (trade paperback, 6x9 inches) and the page count (i estimated 250 pages). I used this to get the sizing and layout right for my designs

Last night, I also looked up formatting and came across Atticus. Atticus is basically Vellum, but not just for Apple. It seems pretty straight forward; once formatting is done, you download the book as an EPUB, then upload it to Amazon.

I have experiences with Fiverr, so that is something I can turn to, thanks for the recommendation.

Hey, don't worry about it. I said it more so that one-time spammers wouldn't come in and advertise their services and "corrupt" the thread. You are a known and good member. The Fiverr link is helpful.

theres lotys oif service companies out there,,, book baby is one that springs to mind. To be honest just putting it on the store is so easy to do yourself i wouldnt pay for it.

imo the place to put your money in order of priority is editting, cover, then blurb
