Hey hey! Just letting everyone know that I might be fiddling with some of the display features and buttons, so if you see things moving around or changing colors or whatever, it's just me noodling in the engine room.

Y'all may also see an "Article" area appear or disappear or turn into the homepage for a moment or not. It's all temporary while I figure out what I'm doing.
I'd be curious to see what an article with a lot more text looks like. These don't seem too dissimilar from threads at a glance.
Not sure which one you saw before you I hid it, but there are several displays inherent to the software. We use the list one here but there's also a tile display with graphics and things that look more like a magazine. The articles themselves would be featured content things related to writing. How to Find an Agent or What is Objective POV or whatever. Stand alone things that are not discussion based.
We've been looking into the articles thing since we opened but haven't had the time to mess with it until now. That is a generic user who could potentially do the postings. On the OG, we had a "Writing Forum Staff" member that we used for general things so they weren't attributed to a specific mod, but we stopped doing that years before it closed.
