Day 293: Fiddling

Looks like there's some code that needs to be added to center it on a phone. I did it already for the desktop... or rather, I copied it from the AI.

It looks fine left aligned on the phone. And I'm used to where things are lol.

What do we think about that... centered?
Ooh, that is big. It's sharper than the old one, and I kinda like it centred given that nothing else shares that vertical real estate.

More fiddling... if you see a different homepage, the "forums" button takes you back to normal. Ignore the other stuff... it will be gone in a few.

its not so much a myth as a mistransalation. Nero 'fiddled' as in he procrastinated, he didn't take effective action, he focused on other things... specifically he played the Lyre and sang watching the fire, dreaming of the great city he would build

Yes, but even that is a myth. Nero wasn't even in Rome when the fire began, but rather at his villa in Antium, 35 miles away. When he heard about the fire, he returned to Rome to coordinate relief efforts and opened his palaces to provide shelter for the homeless.

The story arose from rumors that he performed a song about the destruction of Troy—using his own lyre—while viewing the destruction.

But although Nero helped with relief, his subsequent construction of the massive Domus Aurea (Golden House) on the burned-out land led many to believe he started the fire intentionally.
