How was your day?

Good day. I started with swimming at the Kiwanis heated pool - an amazing facility. Then I went and spent some time with my mother. Picked up groceries on the way home, and am now setting my sights on June's short story contest. I think I have an idea!

Today's highs:
Maintained a low-carb diet for the second day. I have a sweet tooth so just writing this is a drain on my willpower
Started water aerobics and walked nearly 5,000 steps
Wrote a blog post
Lows
I spent several hours trying to set up my new Lenovo tablet. I want to add Norton anti-virus from an existing account, but despite having a link directly from Norton, the piggin' thing keeps diverting to Google Play, and I can't log in.
Zucchini. I have 29 baby zucchini and every one is turning yellow and withering on the plant.

It's surprising how food can impact our health. Have you read

Ultra-Processed People: Why We Can't Stop Eating Food That Isn't Food

Yeah, it is surprising how much food can effect you. I am currently Gluten-Free by choice and it's helped a lot. I have also been eating more protein. I also have been trying to eat less corn as it makes me anxious. Anyway, I haven't been perfect lately, but I think life just threw me a curveball today. But eating less sugar is a goal of mine.

+ Cat Cuddles

I have a real sassy cat that's kinda bratty, but if she senses anxiety or sadness in me, she snuggles up sweetly. Life is better with cats, dogs, pets in general.

Today for me is decent. Hurt my ankle and had to trek a long ways back home on it, but, while icing it I laid back and brought out a story of mine that never feels quite done. Didn't work it all out, but, I feel I made some progress. Quite happy about it.

Pip, so good to see you here.

Isn't that the wonderful thing about cats? Mine was very attentive when he sensed I was anxious.

I am sorry you hurt your ankle. I hope it feels better soon and I am happy to hear you got some writing done. :)

It's amazing how they sense our moods. I wish men were that intuitive LoL

Still can't figure out how to bypass Google Play to load Norton anti-virus. I now regret buying the tablet in the UK as I have no service staff backup. Who knew setting up a tablet would be so difficult.
I did some more work on my Buddha painting. More exercises in the pool, and swam 10 lengths—my first swim of the year. Diet still on track. Getting sugar withdrawal moods.

I got a couple more arms done on the new (hopefully) raccoon-proof birdfeeder. However, my offset nipples want to cross-thread when I put them in the flanges.

And I know there's a slew of bad jokes in there.
