My favourite temperature is anywhere between 20 - 24 C

I'm big on 15 - 20C, even a bit lower if I'm outside and moving around. I should probably move to New Zealand at some point.

I prefer the cooler temps. Easier to warm yourself up than it is to cool yourself down, in my opinion, plus you can't beat feeling cozy with being wrapped up in a blanket or nightgown during chilly weather.

That's pretty much what it comes down to for me. I can only take off a finite amount of clothing. But I can bundle up as much as I want, and include a cat for extra heat.

Goddamn it... I wrote my entire history fiction book with my blind main character in 1775 using… a method of cane moving (y’know, how the blind would swing their cane side to side or tap?) that wasn’t introduced until the 1940s.

Meaning… Amos would either be holding it at an angle in a straight line, or upward like a staff. Not using it like blind folks today. He wouldn’t be ‘tapping along the floorboards’ or ‘swinging my cane side to side in an arc’.

I surrender my history degree. I surrender it all. Now to go soak my head in a basin.

Do you know Blind Jack of Knaresborough? If not, look him up. Very prominent working man of around the same time with a very interesting life who was quite well chronicled because of it.
