You put it on your nutsack to mitigate the chafing. Like Gold Bond, but more readily available in commercial kitchens.
I would have never guessed that people slapped corn starch on their sack. TIL.

In other news, I wanted to watch the Blue Jays game from this afternoon with no spoilers, however this turned out to be impossible to avoid. Browsed the CBC news site, bam, article headline spoiler. Then I went on the Sportsnet app to watch it anyway - also spoiled there. Oh well. Jays are officially in the playoffs and are still in a good position to finish at the top of the American League.

Red Sox are limping in. Future looks bright, but they're probably not doing much this year.

...so the knife cuts were constantly changing. Pain in the balls.

And here I was thinking with the changing knife cuts and pain in your balls that you'd accidentally knicked your... parts and staunched the blood with cornstarch. I was admiring your resolve and dedication to duty despite bleeding... parts only to find your concern was for chaffing. I was also confusing Gold Bond with Gold Medal Flour, so it all made sense in a weird sort of way.

Sigh. I am going to have to give my bicycle away. :( 'Tis a sad day, but too many accidents involving idiotic motorists and idiotic pedestrians has convinced me that the humble bicycle has no future.

In no order, these accidents involved:

1. Stupid motorist parking and opening her car door, just in time to slam into cycling me and send me sprawling onto the road. (Spoiler: I was OK, no one ran me over)

2. Cycling downhill and thinking "Woohoo!", only for idiot young-thug motorists deciding to run me off the road in their car and moon me

3. Way too many close calls, including one where some lady pulled out of a side-street way too late for me to stop, so the best I could do was turn the bike sideways 90 degrees ... so I would slam into her car side-on (with my shoulder), rather than with my front wheel (which would make me flip over her bonnet). At least she realized it was her fault. But I definitely could've been killed. Glad I was wearing a helmet, at least.

4. ... and at least two freakin' pedestrians stepping into the bike lane and standing there like two little idiots, looking around like they were on holiday, while I was bearing down on them with my bike and ringing my little tingly bell to say "Look out!" ... and they then turning around and giving me the finger. (Next time I should run them over, I just don't care anymore).

Conclusion? Stupid people suck. They suck even harder if they're being stupid in traffic. Ugh.

Since when did today become the first day of Autumn? About mid-day, our office cleaner, from Croatia, was saying how lovely the say was for the first day of Autumn and then minutes later Louanne posts an autumnal message. That's not how I learned it many years ago.

Still, a bright gorgeous day with a a thin crisp of chill. What a beautiful country this is.

Hello @Yoyai - interesting pics!

When a pic is that large, you can resize it so it doesn't take up so much space - I tend to try for something smaller than 500 X 500
