I googled pdf of the trouble with the irish and can down it at oceanofpdf for price of a coffee contribution. I can't vouch for the site and figure there may be others. Many books out of copyright can be sourced through pdf searches.

A scanned copy is available to borrow here. It does not download and you can not print but the site will read it to you.

Haha, yeah it's a bit odd. We're a month into hockey season. I think it's pretty rare for baseball to get to November, though. Whatever happens, this will be the last game of the year.

I worked as a CLA for a law firm for over 11 years. One of the senior partners loved baseball and took responsibility for the little gambling guess-who-is-going to-win-this-year thingie that many people participated in. He always asked if I wanted to participate, and I always said I would join in on the day Green Bay stood a chance of winning the pennant. He was a nice man. I miss him.

Oh my god. Bases loaded, bottom of the 9th, only 1 out. Runner going to home is called out, looks like the catcher's foot was off the plate. Play was challenged, confirmed out. Then the next hitter drives a ball to the wall and two outfielders collide, but one of them catches the ball

We are off to extra innings. Holy hell. Literally an inch away from winning. And again. And yet.

And now LA in the top of the 10th has bases loaded with 1 out. But the Jays finished 'em off without giving up a run. Good golly, what a game for the ages.
