My husband is a life-long Cubs fan. The day they won the pennant, he said there was no further reason to follow baseball. Baseball Nirvana had been achieved. We don't have a TV so we listened to the game on radio just as he'd done his entire childhood. Aren't we quaint?

Yep it's back to the hockey, though we're only a month into what is always a way too long season. Hard to get excited about anything this early, but I do love having a game on while I do my internet stuff on my laptop in the evenings !

Absolutely. My family gets into big shouting matches and I used to try to calm them down but then they'd just turn on me, so I decided to stay out of it. I love my new home, its expensive as f*ck but its quiet and peaceful. Most of my neighbors are older people so I rarely hear them. Its great. I dont have to wake up to big blowup arguments and then go to work in a bad mood anymore.
