I have a scheduled call with an operations manager on Monday regarding a job I'd applied for. They described the purpose of the call as getting to know me better and to tell me more about the company and the position, but I am pretty sure this means "interview."

I'm doing a version of the Ray Bradbury two typewriter thing, except one of the typewriters is a piano keyboard. So when I get stuck or bored working on my WIP I spin my chair and practice my piano lessons.

Ray Bradbury was a piker. Isaac Asimov claimed to have had up to five typewriters all going at the same time. He said that he was delighted when he got his first word processor, because it meant that he didn't have to switch chairs anymore.
