What made me happy today?

My communism test score is 32%

Here's the link if anyone else wants to try it (24 questions)

I got 33% and was struggling to answer some of the questions. I had a lecture at university focused on language and communication in business setting, in one of the classes we learned about Hofstede's cultural dimensions that can be used to measure e.g. collectivism or individualism in nations (and businesses?), a lot of what I learned in that class was new to me (don't have a background in business or communication or pr) Anyways that's what the test reminded me of.

I've been reading The Lacuna by Barbara Kingsolver, which considers communism and McCarthyism among its themes. She is a remarkably talented writer.

Morning Glory Milking Farm too can be seen as an indictment of capitalism if you smoke enough weed.

I dunno, communism sounds kinda boring in comparison to everything else they offer on that site...

"Take one of our free personality tests, many of which are based on peer-reviewed scientific research, and all of which are crafted by experts in psychometrics."

Among which are... The Chad Factor Test ("The Chad spectrum reflects a range of social, physical, and behavioral patterns defined by effortless dominance, universal appeal, and the idealization of alpha presence. In situations where others grind, Chad gets everything without trying. Some experience fleeting confidence, while others embody the archetype 24/7.")

Apparently: Your Chad traits are moderate (50%). I scored high in Normie Irrelevance and Cope Resistance.

Might try the Hello Kitty test later.

yeah you can waste an entire day taking their stupid tests.

True. I tried the Fascism test and picked all the nicest, most pro-individualistic, least mean answers, and still scored 36%. *shrug*

I'm especially confused because I also tried the "Which Dictator are you?" and got none of them. Instead, the site told me that I was far too sensitive and good-natured to ever become a ruthless dictator. (I'm not sure how to feel about that).

Conclusion: these tests contradict each other, and don't really mean much.

From what I know about my family who lived in time of socialism when I was born too but don't remember much (I don't know the difference between socialism and communism?) there was an authoritorian leader, people had jobs and place to live but there was a lot of rules, police had more power than they do now, there was no explicit religion and some of minorities were complaining, right now it's more of capitalism and democracy (not the same one like in Western countries) but there's a part of state more prone to communist/social order.

I read something recently:

Capitalism - anyone can get rich
Socialism - anyone can get rich but no-one should be poor
Communism - no-one can get rich
Most of my family members were just regular people but some of them like my grandfather were the consistent part of the system, the changes had effect on us all but mostly on those who were in it all the way.

reminds me of the two cows thing

Socialism - you have two cows, you give one to your neighbour
Communism-you have two cows, the state takes both and gives you some milk
Fascism - you have two cows, the state takes both and sells you some milk
Naziism - you have two cows, the state takes both and shoots you
Traditional capitalism - you have two cows you sell one and buy a bull, your herd grows until you retire then you sell, invest the monery and live on the interest
Wall street capitalism - you have two cows, you sell five cows to your cayman island subsidiary on paper and use the notional ownership to secure leverage with which you claim to spend on sheep but actually sequester off shore. You sell milk futures as a bond to your neighbours, then just before the bonds mature you file for bankruptcy. Shortly after this the public buy your bull
