Found Matthew Hughes' profile on Facebook. He's a writer working in the Jack Vance tradition, like me. There aren't exactly many - we're like the freaky kids in one corner of the classroom. Sent him a message.
The hell... why?
Okra Winfrey is a lady. The hell... why?
I like the accordion version, I could be wrong but reminds me of the southern parts of Italy like Sicily, they're a bit more chill I think (due to climate and lifestyle? dunno)I'd love to create some tacos in 59 seconds. Heck, even "Weird Al" took longer than that.
But if you want Italian music, "Weird Al" has you covered too.
(Only kidding, of course! But Al's songs made me happy)![]()
Keep us posted.Found GRRM's email, and sent him a message. Not expecting a reply though.
She has six toes, not that that disqualifies her, but since this started with lady fingers, there's some phalange related relevance.Okra Winfrey is a lady.
It's not about what you know but who you know? Joking but if there's anyone here to recommend Naomasa please do. The best way is to get more fans through publishing, just like the person you're writing to has done.
Okay, let's hope he reads his e-mails, in the meantime I hope you post more of your writings.I was actually approaching GRRM specifically - because he's one of the most prominent people who "gets" Jack Vance. He edited a tribute anthology and has acknowledged Vance's influence on him.
In my experience if the person is really successful it's important for them to be humble and accessible for communication.
No one has any obligation to respond to fan e-mails or such, but it does their character and image good, I think, if they at least sometimes respond. It keeps them humble when success has otherwise lifted their spirits above the common plight. Why should a successful person incur the obligation of communicating with anyone who calls, writes, or sends an email?
