I believe I've had it, but diagnosed by a corpsman not an MD.
It wasn't nice. Worse than salmonella, better than White Castle.

MD diagnoses are often overrated/overtrusted. They tend to take several iterations to get it right.I believe I've had it, but diagnosed by a corpsman not an MD.
I have not loved LibreWriter. For years it was reliably corrupting certain DOCX files. I diagnosed and reported the problem (doubly writing an XML attribute) but never saw any acknowledgment or follow-up. In addition, even with the direct-replacement Times New Roman fonts, line and page breaks did not match Word's. In the publishing business, that was a hard NO. I actually like that it uses the Word 97 interface at which Word peaked, but it just wasn't a serviceable substitute, and the developers' attitude appeared to be Everything will be fine once Libre Office and ODT files becomes the global standard. In other words, come the revolution.I'm just too lazy and scared to transition to Linux and I've made my feelings on Mr. Jobs' Monster clear at several points in the past.![]()
I use OpenOffice because I'm poor. Had very few issues with it, and found workarounds for most of them. It's the full OS level Linux that attracts and scares me.I have not loved LibreWriter. I had the option of leaving the car out in 5 degree (F) for the next few days...

Are you taunting me? Actually, it's not so much the temp as security. We aren't out there where every car that drives by is a neighbor.I haven't put a car in a garage since 1979, early on because we didn't have one and later because whatever garage space we did have was turned into my husband's shop. Our cars laugh at 5 degrees and started right up in -35. Seats were cold, though.
Trouble is things I write on the shopping list often get intentionally ignored...Create a inventory sheet with pars for your kitchen. You will never run out of anything again.

Goodness, no, I am not taunting you. My dearest fantasy involves parking my car under shelter in the winter. Do you think I LIKE shoveling two feet of snow off the thing? Are you taunting me?
