Medicare has removed one of my specialist care providers from its approved provider list because the office "doesn't serve enough Medicare patients." There is exactly one approved care provider within in a 200 mile radius of my fair city. Seriously: 400 mile trip round trip twice a month for a ten minute procedure?

We are not amused.

My folks and a lot of their friends can't leave the area because of the dearth of Medicare approved providers in more rural areas.

Managed to hurt myself sleeping! I’m not entirely sure what happened, but I think I rolled over onto my arm while it was in an awkward position (scratching?). Not a fun way to start the day, though the discomfort is almost gone, at least.
