What's Your Writing Routine?

Was curious what people's writing routines are. I need to get back on the wagon, lost my routine after going on vacation and getting a cold. Usually I can only really write at night, specifically after sun down and when the moon rises. I tend to try and write 500-2000 words a night, depending on how much I energy I have. I'm trying to try and do some more outlining and "figuring out the skeleton of the story" during the day though.

It tends to constantly change. Sometimes that can be writing in the morning or late at night, planning a story to the last detail or having a one-sentence outline. Getting back on the wagon usually entails few words and a heck of a lot of convincing to get my butt back in the chair!

Depends how tired I am. My sleep cycle is not good right now.

Only managed 600 words yesterday, but if I'm in the right frame of mind, I can easily knock out 2000 words when I'm deep into a project.

I write a little every day. I'm never consistent because of my schedule but my goal is to either finish a chapter every 2-4 days (if I'm in the middle of a book) or just write a scene or two each day. I write random scenes sometimes.... I don't know, I just get bored and want to capture a scene. Mostly it's more of a goal to just write something and read something each day.
