I like the word "innate" but you'd have to rephrase the line. "Yeah, but it's innate for you [WHAT WORD?] You grew up with this."

Technically that works, but it doesn't do what I need it to.
It's like when you have to go up in a crane to fix a high voltage cable on your first day, and the veteran you're with is talking about sandwiches because he's licked so many cables with 20,000 volts already.

I think my sentence structure was just getting in the way.
"Blasé" is the word I'm looking for, but it doesn't work in the sentence provided in the original post.

Or maybe a nice synonym of it, but I can look that up myself. Thanks everybody.
