Ha! I am both glad and unhappy for you. Writing blurbs is the worst.your thread in the Self-Pub section got me thinking about refining my blurb and book description. So I spent the last hour writing and rewriting (and rewriting) one
I'm still struggling on what to write next.

I'm going to my first in person writers meet-up (not including the writing club i ran at my previous library) this evening, and will work on it more there.

before my knowledge that ChatGPT does literally the same thing, i created "name wheels" which I loaded with 1000 plots, keywords, and characters (from various lists around the interwebs).
You spin "wheel of fortune" style and whatever it lands on is what you write about (it was something fun to do with my library writing club):

I set up the setting, lore and a created a couple of characters for a new roleplay I am starting - in the steampunk genre, it is set in 1858 Shanghai, in an alternate universe, and it was at a time when East and West were colliding. Love to have you join!

laughs - i havent written anything since friday... for some reason ive been a bit busy 
before that I was working on my billy the kidd series... not about the actuall billy the kid... its an action adventure finance and PI kind of thing, the MC is called Horatio Kidd but everyone calls him Billy... i'm into book 4 currently the others are 'the hole in the wall gang', '50% Robin Hood (which is to say he steals from the rich and keeps it), and 'the Regulators' i havent got a title for book 4 yet

this is my whole writing file most of of those are series croc has 22 books for example
I’m in a similar bind. I have a bunch of different ideas jotted down, but I have no idea which of them to start with. None of them are jumping out at me, so I’ve been revamping old worldbuilding notes so at least something is getting done.
Hmm, well for the past week I've been focused on formatting my spec-fic satire for self-publishing. It's pretty much finished now and I just need a cover before I start spamming everyone about it 
Monthly, I aim to write one or two flash pieces, ideally two, and then work on expanding them to shorts of ~1500-2000 words if suitable. Yearly I don't track too much outside of how many rejections I've received, which gives me a good idea of how active I've been.
Once I get the self-pub out there and waste some time and maybe a small amount of money trying to persuade people to read it, I'll get back to novel #4, which is off to a decent start at 11K words. But I have been having some trouble getting into "the zone" !

Started on a new fantasy story. Spent about an hour or two resetting my tone and finding the right voice. Wrote and rewrote it a few times, managed 266 words in the end.
Maybe next time. I’ll soon have them kung fu fighting, whatever the genre.
