I think it was a mistake to take cursive writing out of the elementary curriculum. Kids in my family cannot even sign their name.

And we always have to write our poems in their birthday cards in printing!

Hard agree, cursive is becoming such a lost art. I feel bad for kids now, they're not even being given the chance to try it.

Pro-tip: canned peaches are better.

What? For recipes? Or in general?

I ate canned peaches in winter and springtime, but they could not even come close to the real thing that's around in the supermarkets now. Ripe peaches are really good. We have many varieties here in Greece, including this flat one that's really sweet and tangy.

Peaches are my favourite fruit next to watermelon. Real locally grown watermelon though. Not the spongy supermarket stuff. Ew.
 
Pineapple on pizza, yes or yes?

Not usually, but I will eat pizza with pineapple.

I like pepperoni, sausage, roasted red peppers and mushrooms.

But a little while while ago, my sister came over with a pizza that had on it Feta, mozzarella, asiago, sun dried tomatoes, artichoke hearts, roasted red peppers, pickled eggplants, mushrooms, and olives topped with spinach & Italian dressing. It was delicious!

Try the following toppings if you haven't already. It sounds disgusting but is incredible:

  • White clam
  • Mashed potatoes
  • Penne vodka
  • French fries
Not together.
 
My wife is from New Haven, CT, generally considered to have the best pizza in the world. The white clam pie has been a staple there for decades. Providence has very good pie but nothing compared to them. NYC can barely hold a candle to it either.
 
I don't think we can get it around here, but now sampling New Haven White Clam Pizza is on my bucket list.

I Googled for recipes and it sounds divine!

 
For pizza, I say simplicity is best. A plain cheese pizza from a place where they know what they're doing? Chef's kiss. I do like some extras here and there like feta, marinated tomatoes, and of course pineapple.

I have been eating watermelon every day, all week long. Loved every second of it, but damn, an 11-pound melon is bigger than I'd thought.
